Come j’ignore encore si on ouvre Les Lettres Lorsqu[’]elle sortent de France je me menagerez au comencement jusqu’à ce que je soye sure qu[’]elle vous parvienent sans examen, car je prevoit [m…][? ]que je trouverai vaste matiere a m’egayer et a refflechir. Je n’arriverai selon toute aparance qu’à la fin du mois prochain a Monpellier et voyageré come les Tortues[.] Jl n[’]i a que le voyage de Berlin qui me donne des forces et des ailes. Que n’y puis je être pour vous reïterer de vive voix la Tendresse et le profond respect avec lequel je serai jusqu’au tombeau[,]
